Krisztina Tóth presented her novel “Eye of the Monkey” at a literary event held on March 14 at the Brooklyn Public Library. The evening opened with a keynote address by acclaimed filmmaker Werner Herzog.

A large audience gathered for the library’s nighttime program, where Herzog delivered a compelling talk exploring the relationship between mathematics and visual structures. His reflections ultimately turned toward poetry itself—examining the hidden architecture of the world, an invisible order that occasionally reveals itself to the human eye.
“It was a remarkable experience,” Krisztina Toth reflected. “I am truly grateful for it.”
