THE BAT – U.S. PREMIERE IN NEW YORK

This striking tragicomedy explores the timely themes of division and hostility. Both humorous and deeply moving, it tells a familiar story about a family and a community, holding up an unsettling mirror to today’s polarized political climate. At times funny, at times disquieting, the play transforms an everyday setting into a microcosm of social conflict, revealing how quickly politeness can give way to fear and suspicion.

The premiere performances ran from March 20 to April 4, 2026, at the New Stage Performance Space in New York.
