Krisztina Tóth’s stories for pre-schoolers and elementary school children highlight issues that children find difficult to ask about and adults find difficult to talk about. The topics of Universal Kiss deal with challenged children, bedwetting, old age, poverty, caring for animals, and the death and mourning of pets. In her stories, Krisztina Tóth helps us to learn about the world and understand those in difficult situations, and she presents answers that are free of didacticism whilst reinforcing children’s openness and helpfulness. The illustrations for the book were created by Edit Szalma.
