Enigmatic stories. Krisztina Tóth’s new volume contains her short stories and novellas written in recent years: a plane encounters turbulence; an elderly woman leaves her watch at the physiotherapist’s and can no longer be reached; a woman steals a red coat at a company party; someone cannot find their glasses, and a mysterious message arrives saying that an unknown dog needs to be fed. „To get a glimpse of sky” is about the present, highlighting and showing everyday episodes from the lives of the people who live with us and around us: the reader takes away from them the crises and tragedies lurking in the background, as well as the absurdity and liberating laughter of everyday life.
